CALENDAR OF EVENTS (below) The Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club hosts a 2-day all-breed conformation show and obedience trial in October. Club members are active in a variety of doggie events, including obedience, conformation, agility, herding, lure coursing, tracking, earth dog, carting, search and rescue, pet-assisted therapy, breed-specific rescue, service dog training, judging, and K-9 law enforcement training. The Club supports and assists the Lawrence Humane Society and donates books on dogs to the Lawrence Public Library. Please contact Jane at 785-842-5856 for additional information.

AKC All-Breed Show, Obedience and Rally Trial at the Douglas Country Fairgrounds, 21st & Harper Streets. Conformation classes in the Arena Building, Obedience followed by Rally in Building 21. Most activities take place between 9 AM and 2 PM. Vendors of food and dog-related items present. No unentered dogs please. |
